From March in the bookshop “Mò Vi Mento – Lira di Achille”
The novel “Mò Vi Mento – Lira di Achille” written by Francesco Gagliardi will be published in March by the historic publishing house Armando Curcio Editore, based on the homonymous film he wrote and directed with Stefania Capobianco.
Reversing the “typical” route of films inspired by books, the director, screenwriter and film producer Gagliardi chose to venture into the publishing world by reworking the screenplay in a narrative form.
Using an even more provocative and irreverent language, the novel recreates on paper the comic and paradoxical spirit of the film. The story is funny, sometimes sarcastic, often makes you think with bitterness. Just like the film, the novel is not just a comedy, but an original and ironic reading of the current political reality.
To sign the preface will be a prominent name of Italian political journalism …
There will be numerous promotional events organized in Feltrinelli and Mondadori. During the meetings the author will talk about how he worked on the creation of his first novel, how he managed to move with ease from one narrative language to another, and how any reference (not) is purely coincidental!
